If it's White, don't Bite!

This week I had someone ask me at work, "what are you doing to lose weight?"  I paused trying to think of the best way to describe what I eat.  If I told him I am following the Atkin's diet he would probably think all I'm eating is protein, fat, and no carbs.  Sometimes people have a bad perception of Atkin's so I told him I'm cutting out everything white.  I don't eat anything with sugar or flour.  So my diet phrase is if it's white, don't bite.

I went to my doctor today for a checkup and he was excited that I had lost two more pounds since the last time he saw me two weeks ago.  He told me whatever you're doing keep it up.  Over the last two years my doctor has seen my weight rollercoaster up and down.  I'm just excited the next time I go into the doctor to show him that I'm no longer on a weight rollercoaster, I'm on a downward spiral of losing more and more weight.  When people ask you how you are losing weight, what do you tell them?
