Low Carb & P90X

Today is my first day to start the P90X workout program.  It is a home fitness dvd program that you do everyday for 90 days.   I started it a couple of weeks ago and completed one full week and then had a crazy second week of work and didn’t do a good job of fitting the workout into my schedule.  I’m going to start the program over because I want to do the 90 days all the way through with no breaks in between, so today is my first official day to do P90X.  I will keep you posted on the progress and continue to follow my low carb lifestyle.  

I enjoyed a couple of “fun” days during my birthday weekend and unfortunately gained some weight, so I’m going to go back to the basics and follow the Induction Phase of Atkins to get my weight back down again.  This last month, I’ve really struggled losing more weight, but I know I just need to consistently get back on the low carb band wagon and I will reach my goal.  Two months ago I completed the Atkins Fat Fast to help kick my weight stall and I got down to 135lbs.  The weight has slowly started creeping back on the scale, so I know it’s time to cut back on my carbs again and start the Induction Phase.   Wish me luck!
